Make Today Amazing

Can you imagine knowing that your last day on earth was today? What would you do to make it different? Unfortunately for me, I don't think it would be much different than any other day. Now that's just plain sad.

It's very hard to change the values we live by because values are practiced day in and day out. Our values define the things most important to us. That's why faith is so important to God. Faith is the stepping stone in trusting God to change us for the better. God wants us to grow accustomed to what He values, and that is a process learned over time.

Life can get very busy from the time you wake up to the time you go to bed. As you look back over your day you might recognize a sense of being incomplete and lacking peace in your heart. You might realize that God had very little to do with all your grand plans and accomplishments. You ran to and fro like a chicken with its head cut off, only to be further behind than when you first started.

If your values are not aligned with God's, many times you will revert back to the flesh, which is a biblical way of saying the world is more important than God. Remember the believer is the temple of God's Spirit, and that Holy Spirit is very jealous of your time. We need to daily think and act spiritually and elevate our game to His game. How many times do I wake up without even considering God's perfect will for my life? Don't miss out on God's greatness and perfection while doing good things. My day would look remarkably different if I put God first and gave Him the first fruits of my day.

Now that would be an Amazing day!
