More than a few wings and a whole ton of prayers.

Corner to Corner across this great nation is what I aiming to do and it's gonna take more than a few angels and a whole lot of prayers from people who love and care for me. Sure it's been done before. I'm not the only soul who has ventured off into the wild blue yonder. Folks have been doing this kind of stuff for years, probably since they came over the Atlantic on the Mayflower. I'm just adding a little Candella twist to the mix, I'm taking my Lord Jesus at His word and not just saying I believe but actually walking it out for 3000 miles. My hope is that I offer the young and old some good ole fashioned inspiration that God isn't just some fairly tale we have made up to get us through our anxieties in life but a friend, a Father and creator who takes great delight in us. I've awakened to the fact that God is our biggest cheerleader in life who desires to give us the keys to the kingdom if we trust Him. Yes, I am unabashedly in His service and He is more to me than just, the big guy upstairs.

It makes me sad to think of how I reduced God to someone I was embarrassed to acknowledge. If were honest I think most of us have stooped this low when referring to God. And, you know why most people do this?, it's bcause we don't want to be mistaken as fools who believe in something or someone they can't prove exists. You might be persecuted for such heresy in the times we live today. You know, it's pretty common to do. That's why Jesus said in Luke 9:26

26 If you are ashamed of me and of my teaching, then the Son of Man will be ashamed of you when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.
